Christ, our Escape from Insanity
Greetings to you who have been made holy and righteous in Jesus Christ!
I'm sure some of you might be wondering if I know enough of you to speak about you this way, but my understanding of you does not rest upon what you have or have not done, thought or have not thought, for I make my judgment of you according to that which cannot been seen with human eyes or know with human thoughts. I know you according to Christ and him crucified. Lest you imagine that I don't know how to see you any other way, I can tell you with certainty that I could condemn you just as I have often condemned myself. But I have learned that knowing Christ is not some kind of escape from reality, it is instead an escape from insanity. For that is all there is in this world. My friends, all else but Christ is smoke and mirrors. If you want to see truth then see it according to faith.
Shovel Audio
Adam and I have recorded another audio session. It is our hope that these audio files will help to build you up in your faith. This week's Shovel-Audio is called Sin Erased (the height and depth of God). Please stop by and check it out. As usual, we would love to hear back from you.Registration Change
For some of you, this will be your first Spoonful newsletter. That's because after having received another notice of a new user registration on the shovel website, I did some follow-up to discover that only a few in the past year or so had taken the further step of subscribing to the newsletter ... and I'm pretty sure that most of these subscribers had assumed they were signing up for the Spoonful. Anyhow, I went back and subscribed these new users to the Spoonful, and then found a way (with a new feature) to offer the newsletter sign-up at the time of registration. For any of you who did not wish to be subscribed to this newsletter, just click the link at the bottom of this page. :)- Related Content:

Great post. Thanks.
Good thing you did that registration thing...I have to admit I didn't do anything with it at all. Forgot or something. Thanks.

"(Christ) is all there is in this world...all else but Christ is smoke and mirrors"
VERY interesting statement, Jim. Oh, how much of my time is spent on trying to figure out the illusions of this world!
